James J. Bourgeois
James J. Bourgeois is a civil litigation associate with Cooper & Scully, P.C. James has experience representing clients in various litigation matters, including insurance defense, personal injury law, transportation and trucking, construction defects, and labor and employment matters. James grew up in Pensacola, Florida. He graduated with honors from Florida State University and received his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. After law school and prior to joining Cooper & Scully, P.C., James was an associate attorney at an insurance defense firm in which he handled a large docket focusing on defending clients involved in personal and commercial automobile accidents.
James enjoys the challenge of litigation, from the inception to the resolution, and strives to work closely with his clients to advise them through the entire litigation process in order to achieve the most favorable results. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.
