Join us on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 for a discussion on current developments and interpretations of the caps under §§74.301-74.303 of the Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code. The speakers will address what pleading requirements, if any exist and what proof must be adduced by a defendant to be entitled to the caps. The webinar will also focus on how the caps have been interpreted, do they include prejudgment interest and efforts currently being made to stack them. Finally, the webinar will address the current status of constitutional challenges to the caps contained in 74.301 and 74.303. This will include discussions of the federal case in Marshall as well as cases currently on appeal.
