Webinar: Copyright Litigation in Construction Matters

Mr. Cooper and Mr. Dortch will discuss copyright and ownership issues in design documents including: the type and scope of protected rights of design professionals in their design documents through copyright and other law, how those rights are affected and play out in the construction process, and how parties are enforcing these rights. They will also address how parties in the construction arena are using creative ways to prosecute and defend intellectual property litigation. Additionally, they will address what claims are covered by the commercial general liability policy in copyright infringement cases. 

Texas MCLE:
This course is approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of 1.0 credit hours.

TDI CE:
This course will qualify for 1.0 general credit hour of insurance licensee continuing education by the Texas Department of Insurance pursuant to 28 TAC § 19.1010.
