This webinar will address the new billing requirements adopted by Texas in Senate Bill 1264 and Congress in the “No Surprises Act.” It will address which types of policies each act governs and the regulatory requirements. It will also discuss how Texas makes certain violations of these acts to be a disciplinary violation by health care providers and subject to disciplinary action in the appropriate agency. Finally, the speakers will address how disciplinary actions for violations of these two statutes are handled, and approaches that can be used to successfully defend the actions.
