Cory M. Sutker
Cory Sutker handles a wide variety of legal matters in state and federal venues, including those involving medical malpractice, products and premises liability, breach of contract, employment disputes, hospital credentialing claims, defamation and fraud. He routinely handles cases involving catastrophic injuries and multi-million dollar exposure. He vigorously represents his clients’ interests in depositions, hearings, mediation and at trial. In addition to his work on active lawsuits, he assists his clients in risk management activities and quality improvement initiatives, pre-suit investigations and alternative dispute resolution. He also represents medical professionals in administrative law matters before the Texas Medical Board and Texas Board of Nursing. Cory's experience, knowledge base, ability to connect with others, and his track record of success have made him a reliable advisor and valuable asset to his clients. He was recognized in the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list by Thomson Reuters in 2006 and 2009-2012. Since 2013, he has been recognized by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyer in the Thomson Reuters publication.
Cory is a life-long Dallas resident. He is a former Board member and Board officer for VMLC, an organization focused on adult literacy. He devotes his free time to spending time with his wife and three children, playing soccer and hockey (and trying to avoid injuries), watching hockey and coaching his children’s sports teams.
