Lara is an associate in the Dallas office of Cooper & Scully, P.C. She focuses her practice primarily in the area of construction law with experience representing general contractors, subcontractors, and developers in commercial and residential construction defect claims. Lara has defended her clients in both litigation and arbitration. Additionally, she has defended insurance agents and insurance carriers in professional liability claims.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Lara attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of the women’s gymnastics team. During her time at Oklahoma, Lara helped lead the team to the University’s first ever NCAA team title. Her attention to detail and competitive spirit can be seen in her legal practice.
