S. Hunter Walton
Hunter is an associate in Cooper & Scully’s Dallas office. He represents clients in a broad variety of litigation matters including products liability, labor and employment claims, business transactions, and construction litigation. Since joining the firm, Hunter has gained experience involving insurance coverage and general liability claims, premises liability, and even health law.
Hunter Walton graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M College Station in 2013 with his sights set on pursuing a career as an attorney. During his time in Law School, Hunter interned with the First Liberty Institute, where he assisted in litigating complex First Amendment Constitutional Law issues. However, Hunter discovered his passion for being in the court room working for the SMU Civil Clinic where he gained experience handling civil cases for under privileged clients. In 2017, Hunter graduated cum laude from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University.
Outside the office, Hunter enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with his wife Rachel. If he is not working or with his wife, you can find him taking in a Texas A&M sporting event or on a hunting trip with friends.
