Bio

Savannah LaRoe is a trial lawyer at Cooper & Scully, where she defends clients in personal injury, construction, commercial litigation and medical malpractice cases. As the daughter of two trial lawyers, she grew up watching cases built from the ground up and seeing firsthand the preparation, strategy, and judgment that effective advocacy requires. She learned early that cases are won in preparation long before anyone walks into a courtroom.

Savannah earned her degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University, where she competed on its national debate team. She then attended South Texas College of Law Houston, where she became part of the most successful advocacy program in the country and competed on its national mock trial team. Since entering practice, she has continued to refine her advocacy and trial skills, most recently advancing to the semifinals of a young lawyers trial competition and earning the competition’s Outstanding Defense Advocate Award.

In her practice, Savannah has managed cases through every stage of litigation. She has honed her trial skills by seeking to conduct and defend as many depositions as possible, appear at and argue as many hearings as possible, prepare and examine witnesses, work with experts, and participate in every aspect of trial preparation. This hands-on approach has given her substantial experience managing litigation from inception through resolution.

Before joining Cooper & Scully, Savannah carried a heavy docket of civil litigation matters and worked side by side with clients and adjusters to evaluate exposure, build strategy, and drive cases toward resolution on the best possible terms.

Before practicing law, Savannah spent almost a decade as a professional cycling coach. Outside the office, she runs with her church's run club and enjoys playing poker.
