Teresa Bohne is an attorney of over 30+ years who represents insurance companies and policyholders in insurance coverage and extra-contractual cases, in addition to her mediation practice. Teresa served as home office counsel at a national property and casualty insurance company for many years in a variety of roles, including serving as coverage counsel on issues of insurance coverage in all states and regarding all lines of insurance, serving on the large loss committee, working with underwriting for all lines of business (including commercial special risk and excess and umbrella lines), serving as assistant general counsel (including general contract review and labor and employment), serving as a reinsurance manager, and serving as the company manager of all lines of insurance for the insurance company.
In more recent years, Teresa has been called upon to provide consultation and to testify as an expert in insurance coverage and bad faith cases, has served as private practice counsel, Of Counsel, and as a contract attorney. After her graduation from Baylor Law School in 1990, Teresa’s early career focused on the areas of appellate and medical malpractice defense. Teresa is married, and enjoys spending time with her two teenage boys, three dogs, and two cats. She also enjoys providing volunteer services to her boys’ schools and for the homeless.
