She is a bilingual attorney licensed in both California and China, with hands-on experience in IP litigation, legal malpractice, and cross-border commercial disputes. She has supported full-scale jury trials in the Eastern District of Texas, managed complex discovery workflows involving terabytes of data, and worked directly with expert witnesses on damages, ethics, and standard-of-care issues.
Before entering the legal profession, Yuan spent over a decade in journalism, IT, and insurance. These cross-industry experiences shaped her client-first mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt across disciplines and cultures.
