Tara L. Sohlman

Tara Sohlman’s practice focuses on litigation, arbitration, contracts, insurance coverage, and assisting clients with resolving legal questions and properly protecting themselves against future liability.  Her practice encompasses a broad range of law and includes the following areas: construction defect litigation, construction law, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, insurance coverage litigation, product liability, premises liability, and equine law. 

Tara has handled and/or participated in numerous jury trials, arbitrations and bench trials from inception through appeal.  Her experience includes serving as lead counsel in multi-party construction defect litigation.  She has also assessed and addressed insurance policy issues relating to the insured’s right to a defense and indemnity, coverage of the damage, and a carrier’s right of recovery.  She works to achieve great results in an efficient manner for her clients.

In addition to her litigation practice, Tara works with her clients to protect them in business and personal dealings through contracts, negotiations, improving their business practices, and being proactive in resolving issues or disputes.  She utilizes her knowledge and experience to help her clients achieve their goals and protect them against potential future liability.  Her clients have included home builders, general contractors, developers, subcontractors, engineers, insurance companies, manufacturing entities, medical providers, retail stores, horse trainers, farms and other businesses.
