Natalie is a shareholder in the insurance section of the Austin office of Cooper & Scully. With an emphasis in insurance defense, much of her practice is devoted to the representation of insurance carriers against allegations of bad faith, breach of contract, insurance code violations, and deceptive trade practices (in both the residential and commercial context).
Natalie completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Houston and received her law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2013. As a student at South Texas, she focused her studies on Trial Advocacy and Litigation and was selected to represent the school as a Varsity Advocate for South Texas' nationally ranked advocacy program. She received the South Texas College of Law Dean's Advocacy Service Award and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers just prior to graduating in the top third of her class. Following graduation, Natalie continued her passion for mock trial by coaching at South Texas and by serving as chairperson of the Lafayette Young Lawyers Mock Trial Committee.
Her professional licenses include the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of Louisiana. As a member of the Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) of the American Bar Association, Natalie has published a number of articles discussing title insurance litigation. Outside of the legal world, Natalie serves as a board member for Hot Mess Pooches Rescue and Sanctuary, a Houston-based animal rescue.
