Ryder McCool is an associate in the Dallas office of Cooper & Scully, P.C. Ryder has gained valuable experience in a variety of cases involving medical malpractice, healthcare litigation, complex business and commercial litigation, construction litigation, and premises liability matters.
Ryder is a life-long Texas resident. He was born in Corpus Christi, but grew up in San Antonio. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Baylor University. After graduating in 2018, Ryder remained in Waco to attend Baylor Law School. During his time at law school, he sharpened his advocacy skills by participating in moot court competitions and as a member of the Baylor Barrister Society, Baylor Law’s appellate advocacy organization. Throughout law school, he had many formative internships at law firms and in the judiciary, including an internship with The Honorable Marcia Crone of the Eastern District of Texas. Prior to joining Cooper & Scully, he worked at a boutique litigation firm in Dallas.
Ryder enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaley, their dog Elway (Kaley is a Broncos fan), and their friends and family. His free time is spent playing golf and keeping up with all things Baylor sports.
